Common use of Contractor Liability for City Property Clause in Contracts

Contractor Liability for City Property. The Contractor assumes the risk of, and shall be responsible for, any loss, theft, damage or destruction of City Property upon its delivery to the Contractor as City-Furnished Property. However, the Contractor is not responsible for reasonable wear and tear to City Property or for City Property properly consumed in performing this Contract.
