CONTRACTS AND PURCHASES. All contracts let and purchases made pursuant to this Agreement shall be made by the County in conformity with State law.
CONTRACTS AND PURCHASES. A. All contracts let and purchases made pursuant to this Agreement shall be made by the District in conformance to State laws and the applicable Grant Agreements’ requirements. All contracts shall contain the following indemnification paragraph:
i. The Contractor agrees that it will hold harmless, indemnify, and defend Xxxx Rapids, its council members, officers, agents and employees against any and all claims, expenses, losses, damages or lawsuits for damages arising from or related to the negligent provision, or failure to provide, services hereunder.
B. All contracts shall include the insurance requirements as set forth in Exhibit C, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein.
VI. STRICT ACCOUNTABILITY
CONTRACTS AND PURCHASES. Any contracts and purchases made pursuant to this agreement shall be made by the County and shall conform to the requirements applicable to Anoka County.
CONTRACTS AND PURCHASES. Investigation into the Contracts and Purchasing sector of the Ministry of Security revealed irregularities including a lack of documented processes for major purchases, major purchases misused or missing, and the exploitation of a State of Emergency for unauthorized and misused vehicles.
CONTRACTS AND PURCHASES. The Board of Directors of the Agency may authorize any officer or officers of the Agency (including any officer of the Board of Directors or the Executive Committee) or any agent or agents to enter into any contract or to execute and deliver any instrument in the name of and on behalf of the Agency. Such authority may be general or confined to specific instances, consistent in each case with the By-Laws and the Agreement. The Board of Directors may by Resolution provide procedures for the entering into of contracts and making purchases of services, goods, equipment, supplies and facilities. The procedures may provide authority for the Board of Directors of the Agency, its officers or the Executive Committee to approve contracts and purchases and may make such provision as the Agency deems appropriate for public bidding for contracts and purchases. The Executive Committee shall approve payments required under any contract or purchase entered into by the Agency.
CONTRACTS AND PURCHASES. Manager shall, in the name of and for the account of Company Subsidiaries, (i) cause the purchase of necessary supplies and services in the name of the applicable Company Subsidiary and for the account of Hospitals and (ii) negotiate and enter into such agreements as it may deem necessary or advisable, for the furnishing of utilities, services, concessions, and supplies for the maintenance and operation of the Hospitals, including the rendering of professional services.

CONTRACTS AND PURCHASES. Subject to approval by the Association, make contracts for water, electricity, gas, fuel, telephone, vermin extermination, and other necessary services, or such of them, as the Association shall deem advisable. Also, place orders for such equipment, tools, appliances, materials and supplies as are necessary properly to maintain the communities’ common areas and recreational facilities. All such contracts and orders shall be made in the name of the Association and shall be subject to the limitation set forth in Paragraph (d) of this Article. When taking bids or issuing purchase orders, the Agent shall act at all times under the direction of the Association, and shall be under a duty to secure for and credit to the latter any discounts, commissions, or rebates obtainable as a result of such purchases.
