Common use of Copies of the Benefit Plan Clause in Contracts

Copies of the Benefit Plan. ‌ (a) A copy of the master contracts with the carrier for all the benefit plans contained within Article 25 shall be sent to the President of the Union and the appropriate BCGEU Area Office. (b) Prior to any anticipated change in carriers, the Employer will advise the Union thirty (30) days in advance and a meeting will be convened with the Labour/Management Committee to discuss any proposed changes to the benefit carrier. (c) The Employer will develop a pamphlet detailing the provisions of the benefit plans for distribution to all employees eligible for coverage within thirty (30) days of the signing of this Collective Agreement. The cost of such a pamphlet shall be borne by the Employer.
