Common use of Course Assignments and Scheduling Clause in Contracts

Course Assignments and Scheduling. 9.04.1 It is expected that each Department will ordinarily designate those courses within the Department which its members are to teach. Authority to make such assignments rests with the Appropriate Xxxx who may, following consultation with the Chair of the Department concerned, assign to Employees those courses they are to teach. 9.04.2 Department Chairs shall consult Employees in the development of the Department proposal for course scheduling. Courses shall only be scheduled in the approved timeslots for classes in the University’s annual timetable.
