Common use of Court Cancellation Clause in Contracts

Court Cancellation. If a member is to be cancelled for any court appearance referred to in this Section, such cancellation is to be made prior to 7:00 p.m. the previous day. In the event he/she is cancelled after 7:00 p.m., he/she shall be entitled to three (3) hours pay. If the member is on vacation, he/she shall receive six (6) hours pay. Such cancellation to be made prior to the member’s attendance for court, or the normal court overtime shall apply.
