Court Duty. (a) If an employee is required to attend Court for reasons arising out of the normal performance of the employee’s duties, time for the attendance that falls outside the employee’s regular hours of work will be paid as per in accordance with Article 10.0311. The Employer will also cover all reasonable expenses (supported by receipts) incurred by the employee to attend Court. Any monies received by the employee from the Court for attendance shall be turned over to the Employer.
(b) Based on the circumstances of the matter, the employee may be assisted by the Employer’s legal counsel.
