Court Duty. Any teacher who is called for jury duty or court witness shall receive the necessary leave to fulfill his/her civic obligation. The teacher shall be paid his/her full salary for each contract day of absence provided that the teacher pays to the school corporation the compensation received for jury duty less mileage expense. The leave shall not be deducted from sick leave or from personal business leave days.
