Common use of Court Leave Clause in Contracts

Court Leave. 23.01 The Employer shall grant leave with pay to an employee for the period of time he is required: a) to be available for jury selection; b) to serve on a jury; or c) to attend as a witness in any proceeding held before an arbitrator or a person authorized by law to make an inquiry and to compel the attendance of witnesses before it. 23.02 The employee shall be required to remit to the Employer, any fees received for the fulfillment of these duties.
