Court Reporter. If only one (1) party requests the presence of a court reporter, that party shall bear the cost of the reporter.

Court Reporter. A court reporter shall not be required for the arbitration proceedings, but may be requested by the District, the Union or the arbitrator:
1. If the services of a court reporter are requested by the arbitrator, the cost shall be borne equally by the District and the Union.
2. If the services of the court reporter are requested by the Union, the cost shall be borne by the Union.
3. If the services of the court reporter are requested by the District, the costs shall be borne by the District.
Court Reporter. If either party desires a record of the arbitration hearing, a court reporter may be used. The requesting party will bear the expense of the court reporter. If one party purchases a transcript, a copy will be provided to the arbitrator. If the other party desires a copy of the transcript, it will pay for half the costs of the fee for the court reporter, the original transcript and a copy.
Court Reporter. In any disciplinary appeal under Municipal Code Sections 2.04.440 et seq., the SMPOA may request that a Court Reporter record the proceedings. The cost of the Court Reporter shall be shared equally by SMPOA and the City.

Court Reporter. Either party may at its own expense employ the services of a certified court reporter for the purpose of preserving the proceedings at the arbitration hearing.
