CRAFT XXXXXXX. Where there are two (2) or more Employees on the job the Employer shall designate one Employee as Craft Xxxxxxx. The Craft Xxxxxxx shall be selected at the sole discretion of the Employer as determined by operational requirements.

CRAFT XXXXXXX. It is agreed that on or after March 2, 2015, on all projects with a total aggregate value from $35 million up to and including $85 million a CRAFT XXXXXXX will be employed in accordance with the following: a) The Owner, Construction Manager or the General Contractor will be responsible for the employment of the Craft Xxxxxxx. b) The continuous employment of the Craft Xxxxxxx will be begin once the site excavation has started and the Craft Xxxxxxx will remain until the project is 85% complete. c) The Craft Xxxxxxx will be allowed to run a Lull (or similar) excluding masonry work, for the Owner, Construction Manager or General Contractor. If no such piece of equipment is used, the Craft Xxxxxxx will cover equipment listed in Wage Schedule Group IV B which will be discussed at the pre-job meeting with the Business Manager of Local 137. d) The Craft Xxxxxxx’x work week will be forty (40) hours at straight time and five(5) hours at one and one-half (11/2)times the applicable rate of pay. e) From 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM and from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM, the Craft Xxxxxxx will be available to all Local 137 Employees working on the site and allowed to attend Union business. From 7 AM to 12 PM and from 12:30 PM to the end of the work day, the Craft Xxxxxxx will run his Lull or cover equipment agreed upon by both parties at the pre-job meeting with the Business Manager of Local 137. If the Craft Xxxxxxx works overtime, he/she will be paid at the overtime rate applicable to the rate of pay in Group VI A in addition to his/her normal forty (40) plus five(5) hours. f) The Business Manager shall have the authority to appoint, replace and or remove a Craft Xxxxxxx for any non-discriminatory reason, upon written notice from the Business Manager to the Employer.
CRAFT XXXXXXX. A. An employee designated by the Contractor as a Xxxxxxx shall be paid at a rate of $3.00 per hour more than the highest laborer’s wage classification supervised. A general xxxxxxx shall be paid at the rate of $3.00 per hour more than the highest laborer’s wage classification supervised. A xxxxxxx designated to supervise other foremen shall be classified as a General Xxxxxxx. B. The Trust may delegate to the Committee such responsibilities and authority as is authorized by the Trust Agreement and deemed necessary by the Trustees. The Trust and/or Committee may establish such rules, policies and procedures as deemed necessary and appropriate for the recruiting, enrollment, training and graduation of Apprentices, in accordance with the Bureau of Apprenticeship Training and/or the Nevada State C. CRAFT XXXXXXX. One bargaining unit employee will be designated the Craft Xxxxxxx during any day the Employer employs fifteen (15) or more employees in the bargaining unit, exclusive of supervisory personnel. The Craft Xxxxxxx will be a mechanic, unless the Employer employs no mechanics, in which case the Craft Xxxxxxx designation may be assigned to one of the other bargaining unit members employed by the Employer and working as an equipment operator. The Craft Xxxxxxx will be the lead man of the employees in the bargaining unit. Such individual, however, shall neither have the authority to, nor shall he exercise any of the functions customarily exercised by a supervisor within the meaning of the National Labor Relations Act, as amended. Employees covered by this Agreement do not have authority to exercise independent judgment contrary to established and customary company policy and procedures, and they cannot assign and direct other employees contrary to established and customary company policy and procedures. In no way shall such individual be deemed to be an agent of the Union. The Craft Xxxxxxx will be designated by mutual agreement between the Union and the Employer.
CRAFT XXXXXXX. A Craft Xxxxxxx shall be employed by the Employer where fifteen (15) or more employees in the Bargaining Unit are employed. Craft Foremen are employed for their knowledge in the repair and maintenance of various machines used in the construction industry, and shall also work with the tools of the trade relating to the repair and maintenance of all machines coming within the jurisdiction of the Bargaining Unit. They shall also have a working knowledge of the qualifications of the employees working for their Employer. The Craft Xxxxxxx will be the lead man of the employees in the Bargaining Unit. Such individual, however, shall neither have the authority to, nor shall he exercise any of the functions customarily exercised by Supervisors within the meaning of the National Labor Relations Act, as amended. In no way shall such individual be deemed to be an agent of the Union. The Craft Xxxxxxx shall be responsible for the general supervision of all members of the Bargaining Unit. He shall regularly supervise the maintenance performed on all equipment to insure that proper servicing is accomplished daily. He shall maintain records (supplied by the Employer) indicating that regular preventive maintenance has been accomplished. The Craft Xxxxxxx will be responsible for maintaining supply of oil and grease, cables and other spare parts and equipment essential for regular operation when such material is made available to him by the Employer or when given the necessary purchasing power to do so by the Employer. The Craft Xxxxxxx will be designated by mutual agreement between the Union and the Employer, except when an employee has been in the continuous service of the Employer (including affiliated companies, joint ventures, and predecessors or successors of the Employer) for a minimum of ten (10) years.
CRAFT XXXXXXX. It is agreed that on projects bid based on the following schedule: $55M-$125M (aggregate amount of project) for projects bid after 2/28/21 thru 3/2/2025 a Craft Xxxxxxx will be employed as the first Operating Engineer on the job site and continuously employed in accordance with the following: (a) The General Contractor shall be responsible for the employment of the Craft Xxxxxxx. (b) The Craft Xxxxxxx will be required to operate equipment. (c) From 6:30 a.m. until 7:00 a.m., and from 12:00 p.m. until 12:30 p.m., the Craft Xxxxxxx will be available to the other Local 137 Operating Engineers employed on the job site and allowed to attend to Union business. From 7:00 a.m. through 12:00 p.m. and from 12:30 p.m. to the end of his/her workday, the Craft Xxxxxxx will operate equipment. (d) The Craft Xxxxxxx’x normal work week will be 40 hours at straight time and 5 hours at the time and a half O.T. rate of pay. Overtime hours guaranteed for prevailing wage work only. (e) The Craft Xxxxxxx shall be guaranteed 45 hours (40 hours at straight time and 5 hours at the time and a half O.T. rate of pay) per week. Overtime hours guaranteed for prevailing wage work only. (f) The Craft Xxxxxxx shall be the last Operating Engineer on the job, provided that he/she is proficient in the operation of the last piece of equipment necessary to complete the job.
