Common use of Credit for Prior Work Experience Clause in Contracts

Credit for Prior Work Experience. Employees entering the District who have had applicable working experience in other school systems or in comparable fields of endeavor may be placed on the salary schedule at a step not greater than four (4).

Credit for Prior Work Experience. Employees entering the District who have had applicable working experience in other school systems or in comparable fields of endeavor may be placed on the salary schedule at a step greater than one (1) but not greater than four three (4)3) and as approved by the District. Previously unrecognized applicable working experience in other school systems or in comparable fields may be recognized to adjust the salary schedule step to a step not greater than three (3) for a current employee assigned to a different nutrition services role.
