Common use of Crib time - holidays and Sundays Clause in Contracts

Crib time - holidays and Sundays. An employee working on a Sunday or public holiday shall be allowed a crib time of twenty minutes without deduction of pay after each four hours of work, if the Employee continues work after such crib time. Provided that where a day worker is required to work on a Sunday or public holiday the first prescribed crib time shall, if occurring between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., be paid at ordinary rates.

Crib time - holidays and Sundays. 27.10.1 An employee not engaged on continuous work working on a Sunday or public holiday shall be allowed a crib time of twenty 20 minutes without deduction of pay after each four hours of work, if the Employee employee continues work after such crib time. Provided that where a day worker is required to work on a Sunday or public holiday the first prescribed crib time shall, if occurring between 10 a.m. 10.00 am and 1 1.00 p.m., be paid at ordinary rates.
