Cyber Extortion. The Insurer will reimburse the Insured Company for cyber-extortion expenses that the Insured Company incurs directly resulting from and in response to a cyber-extortion threat.

The Academy may join with other public school academies to obtain insurance if the Academy Board finds that such an association provides economic advantages to the Academy, provided that each Academy maintains its identity as first named insured. The Academy shall have a provision included in all policies requiring notice to the University Board, at least thirty (30) days in advance, upon termination or non-renewal of the policy. In addition, the Academy shall submit within ten (10) days of insurance renewal “Xxxxx” copies of the insurance certificate of liability insurance to the Charter Schools Director. The Academy shall also submit for review, upon request, copies of insurance policies evidencing all insurance required by the Contract, and proof of naming University as additionally insured to the Charter Schools Director or an agent selected by the Charter Schools Director. The Academy shall also submit, upon request, to the Charter Schools Director a completed public school academy insurance verification document. The Academy shall properly maintain the necessary insurance certificates evidencing the insurance required by the Contract. When changing insurance programs or carriers, the Academy must provide copies of the proposed policies to the University Board, or its designee, at least thirty (30) days prior to the proposed change.
