Common use of Daily-Rated Employees Clause in Contracts

Daily-Rated Employees. If a daily-rated Employee has earned wages or performed work on fifteen of the thirty days immediately preceding the holiday, the daily-rated Employee shall be paid one hundred percent (100%) of his or her daily rate of pay including over-scale pay for a holiday not worked. If a daily-rated Employee has not earned wages or performed work on fifteen (15) of the thirty (30) days immediately preceding the holiday, the daily-rated Employee shall be paid on the basis of the Employees total wages earned for the thirty (30) days, preceding the holiday divided by fifteen (15).
