DATE OF TRANSFER Sample Clauses
The "Date of Transfer" clause establishes the specific date on which ownership, rights, or responsibilities for an asset or property are officially transferred from one party to another. In practice, this clause identifies the exact moment when the buyer assumes legal title and the seller relinquishes their interest, which can affect obligations such as risk of loss, insurance, or payment schedules. Its core function is to provide clarity and certainty for both parties regarding when the transfer takes effect, thereby minimizing disputes and ensuring a smooth transition of ownership.
