DBE Certification. Certification as a DBE shall be predicated on:
(1) The completion and execution of an application for certification as a "Disadvantaged Business Enterprise."
(2) The submission of documents pertaining to the firm(s) as stated in the application(s), including but not limited to a statement of social disadvantage and a personal financial statement.
(3) The submission of any additional information which the Department or the applicable Arizona Unified Certification (UCP) agency may require to determine the firm's eligibility to participate in the DBE program.
(4) The information obtained during the on-site visits to the offices of the firm and to active job-sites. Applications for certification may be filed online with the Department or the applicable UCP agency at any time through the Arizona Unified Transportation Registration and Certification System (AZ UTRACS) website at xxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxx.xxx. DBE firms and firms seeking DBE certification shall cooperate fully with requests for information relevant to the certification process. Failure or refusal to provide such information is a ground for denial or removal of certification. ADOT is a member of the AZ Unified Certification Program (AZUCP). Only DBE firms that are certified by the AZUCP are eligible for credit on ADOT projects. A list of DBE firms certified by AZUCP is available on the internet at xxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxx.xxx. The list will indicate contact information and specialty for each DBE firm, and may be sorted in a variety of ways. However, ADOT does not guarantee the accuracy and/or completeness of this information, nor does ADOT represent that any licenses or registrations are appropriate for the work to be done. The Department’s certification of a DBE is not a representation of qualifications and/or abilities nor does it mean that a DBE firm is guaranteed or entitled to receive or be awarded a contract. Being certified simply means that a firm has met the criteria for DBE certification as outlined in 49 CFR Part 26. The consultant bears all risks of ensuring that DBE firms selected by the consultant are able to perform the work.

Developer bears all risks of ensuring that DBE firms that Developer selects to work on the Project are able to perform the Work.
DBE Certification. The only DBE firms eligible to perform work on a federal-aid contract for DBE contract goal credit are firms certified as Disadvantaged Business Enterprises by the Virginia Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity (DSBSD) or the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) in accordance with federal and VDOT guidelines. DBE firms must be certified in the specific work listed for DBE contract goal credit. A directory listing of certified DBE firms can be obtained from the Virginia Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity website: xxx.xxxx.xxxxxxxx.xxx.
DBE Certification. SANDAG requires all DBEs listed by SUBRECIPIENT for participation to be certified as eligible DBEs at the time of application submittal. Only participation by DBEs certified under the DOT regulations published 49 C.F.R. 26, or any updated version thereof, may be credited towards the SUBRECIPIENT’s minority-conscious DBE attainment. It is the responsibility of the SUBRECIPIENT to verify the DBE certification status of all listed DBEs.

DBE Certification. Only contractors identified as DBE certified through NCDOT’s Unified Certification Program (UCP) shall be listed and counted for DBE participation.
DBE Certification. [49 CFR Part 26.83] Only firms certified as eligible DBEs as described in 49 CFR Part 26.83 are eligible to participate in the DBE Program.

DBE Certification. The DBE shall have the right, following (1) the conduct of the Acceptance Tests as provided in subsection 5.4(D) and (2) the preparation and delivery to WRD of the Acceptance Test report as required by subsection 5.4(F), to certify Acceptance on a provisional basis. In order to certify Accepta ce on a provisional basis, the DBE shall deliver a written certification to WRD which states that in the good faith judgment of the DBE based on all information available to it at the time of the certification, all of the Acceptance Date Conditions have occurred, except that if the Approval of Construction has not been issued, (1) the Interim Transitional Operaton Approval is in full force and effect, and contains sufficient authority to operate the Facilities in accordance with the Contract Standards until the Approval of Construction is issued, and (2) the DBE reasonably expects that the Approval of Construction will be issued within the applicable time period provided in Section 4.24. The date upon which the DBE’s provisional Acceptance certification is delivered is referred to herein as the “Provisional Acceptance Date,” thereupon “Provisional Acceptance” shall be deemed to have occurred. and
DBE Certification. Only firms that are certified as DBE’s by the Pennsylvania DBE Unified Certification Program (“PA UCP”) as of the date of the bid opening may be used on the Project. The PA UCP maintains a Directory of certified DBE’s classified according to the North American Industrial Classification System (“NAICS Codes”), and this Directory is accessible online at: xxx.xxxxx.xxx. Use of any other certification directory for this Project is prohibited.
