Definition of Work. It is understood that the routine work of the personnel covered under this Agreement shall also include all maintenance work needed to operate and maintain the buildings and grounds in good condition. This shall include the normal cleaning functions, plumbing, glazing, painting, xxxxxxxxx repairs, electrical repairs, etc., insofar as the capabilities of the individual will allow.
Definition of Work. The professional duties of a Location Manager consist of finding and arranging motion picture locations, as more specifically set forth below. This work may be done with the assistance of Assistant Location Managers, Key Assistant Location Managers or additional Location Managers. A "location" is a place where filming occurs that is not a stage or a studio. Location Manager duties include, but are not limited to: (a) Locating sites, whether through file search or scouting. (b) Contacting property owners. (c) Negotiations of property rental and use rates between owners and production companies. (d) Obtaining necessary permission or permits for location sites and location parking from appropriate governmental agencies. (e) Maintaining the negotiated condition and use of the location site in accordance with the rental contract or government permit. (f) Contacting appropriate area film council and maintaining a liaison with same during the course of location use. (g) Location Managers, in the performance of their duties, may drive others provided such driving does not interfere with the regular duties of the Location Manager. The foregoing description of duties is not intended, nor shall it be construed, either to enlarge or diminish the duties of Location Managers or other personnel, as such duties are presently and were heretofore customarily performed in the motion picture industry. The Producer agrees that the utilization of Location Managers shall not be unreasonably withheld.

Definition of Work. (a) All materials to be furnished and labor and work to be performed and completed by Contractor and all duties and obligations of Contractor as required in the Contract Documents are herein collectively referred to as the “Work”. Failure to submit payroll records in the accordance with Section 220 (3-2) of the New York State Labor Law shall be sufficient condition to withhold progress payments, until compliance. Definition of Work. (a) The provisions of this agreement shall apply to the delivery, removal and related movement of all stevedore gear to or on and from a stevedore operation, notwithstanding section (q). (b) The work of transporting or setting up of stevedore gear owed, leased or rented by the employers to and from employer’s facility or job site shall be assigned to gearman. (c) Stevedore gear that is delivered from off dock locations or removed to off dock location by lessor, renter or repair subcontractor is not covered by this section; however, the Employer may at his option, utilize gearmen to perform this work. (d) Stevedore gear referred to in (a) and (b) means all gear necessary to work ship, dock, cars, and warehouse, such as, but not limited to lifts, jitneys, personnel carriers, UTR’s, cages, bombcarts, spreader bars, gangways, portable lights, cone baskets, mobile cranes, portable signs, cargo boards, wire slings, spreaders crowbars, shackles, four wheelers, pipe trucks, first aid baskets and water containers.
