Definitions and Terminology. 2.01 Except where a contrary intention appears:
Definitions and Terminology. In applying the provisions of these terms and conditions, the following words and phrases shall carry the meaning shown next to them. In case there is no definition for a word or a phrase under these standard terms and conditions, consideration must be given to its definition stated in the rules and regulations governing telecommunication within the Kingdom of Bahrain.

a. Teacher‖ will mean any teacher whose employment is governed by this agreement.
b. Experience‖ will mean teaching experience as recognized for salary purposes in this agreement.
i. Necessary qualifications‖ in respect to a teaching position means possession of a valid teaching certificate for the Province of British Columbia and a reasonable expectation based on the teacher‘s university education or equivalent training and classroom experience, that the teacher will be able to perform the duties of the position from the commencement date of the assignment after a reasonable period of familiarization.
ii. Necessary qualifications in respect of a position that does not require the possession of a teaching certificate shall mean a reasonable expectation, based on the employee‘s post-secondary education or equivalent training and experience, that the employee will be able to perform the duties of the position from the commencement date of the assignment after a reasonable period of familiarization.
d. Appeals of the decision with respect to necessary qualifications must be made in writing and normally accompanied with any supporting documentation, within seven (7) calendar days to the Qualifications Committee, through the office of the Superintendent of Schools/CEO. The Qualifications Committee will meet to consider each appeal within five (5) working days of the receipt of the application.

a. Day‖ will mean calendar day;
b. Week‖ will mean five (5) teaching days;

Business Day means each Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday which is not a day on which United States banking institutions are closed. Delivery Date means the 20th day of each month during the term of this Agreement, or, if such day is not a Business Day, the next Business Day.
Definitions and Terminology. (a) Unless otherwise defined, the Production Base is the place where the production is carrying out the majority of its work.
(b) The producers may nominate a different Base for each of pre-production, production and/or post production.
(c) The producers may nominate one Base as above, but may call to any other Recognised Studio (as defined below) for the purposes of an individual working at such Recognised Studio
(d) The recognised studios (Recognised Studios) are Shepperton, Pinewood, Leavesden, Elstree, Ealing, Twickenham. Xxxxxxxx, Longcross and 3 Xxxxx. This list of Recognised Studios will be regularly updated as new studios are established. Where travel is required between Recognised Studios in a single working day, travel mileage will be payable as per clause 6.2(b) unless transport is provided.
(e) For the purposes of this Agreement:
(i) A Non-Resident Location is a place of work where an individual can be expected to travel to and from the Production Base each day;
(ii) A Resident Location is a place of work which is more than 50 road miles from the Production Base; and
(iii) An Overseas Location is a place of work situated outside of the United Kingdom; and
(iv) All the above terms together are defined as a “Location”.
Definitions and Terminology. A. At Risk Amount” means the percentage applied to 1/12 of the annual Subscription Fee paid by the Customer to CGI that is put at risk for one or more Service Penalties owed to the Customer in the event CGI fails to achieve the specified Minimum Service Level for a specific Service Metric within the respective Measurement Interval In this event, the Customer is entitled to the associated percentage of the At Risk Amount as a Service Credit to be accrued and reconciled monthly and applied to the annual invoice.
B. The Service Penalties (and resultant Service Credits) across all Service Metrics are capped and are not to exceed an At Risk Amount of 10% of 1/12 of the annual Subscription Fee paid to CGI for any and all failures during the Measurement Interval in which CGI’s respective performance was below the Minimum Service Level; provided, however, one or more failures to meet Disaster Recovery Service Metrics for Recovery Time Objective (RTO) and Recovery Point Objective (RPO) during the Measurement Interval in the event of an actual disaster shall not exceed an At Risk Amount of 25% for that Measurement Interval.
