DELIVERY AND REMOVAL. 4.1. Delivery and removal charges are payable by the Hirer and are in addition to the hire/purchase costs. 4.2. If applicable, equipment must be packed up, ready for loading, and assistance rendered for loading. 4.3. The Hirer grants to the Owner, or will procure that the Owner is granted, an irrevocable right and authority to enter, and for the Owner to bring the Owner’s vehicle at any time onto, the place where the equipment is to be used or is located to deliver and/or remove or service the equipment either on the expiry of the hire period or on termination of the Contract pursuant to clauses 5.1 or 5.2. 4.4. The Hirer must make any requests for removal by telephone and email at the completion of the hire to the Owner’s office.

Returned confirmation implies that the Equipment has been inspected by the Hirer or agent, is installed as requested, and Equipment is undamaged / void of defects (e.g. damaged fence feet casing or bent frames). The Hirer shall return the confirmation of order by verbally/email/phone/SMS within 2 days of receiving it. The Hirer’s failure to do so shall constitute an acceptance of the Equipment “as is” and a deemed acknowledgement that the Equipment is in good repair and condition, is safe, useable and the quantity received/installed is correct 2.5. The Hirer must make any requests for removal by telephone/email/SMS, and follow up email/SMS, at the completion of the hire agreement or three days notice if terminated earlier to the Owner 2.6. Should accessibility to the site be more difficult on dismantle of the Equipment as opposed to the installation, a labour charge will be applicable 2.7. The Hirer shall have a representative attend upon collection of the Equipment to supervise the count of the Equipment and sign the same out. When the Hirer does not provide a representative to supervise the collection of the Equipment the Hirer must accept all counts taken by the Owner

DELIVERY AND REMOVAL. ABI shall deliver the equipment to the Customer and shall remove the equipment from the Customer under this agreement on such dates and at such times as the parties may agree from time to time. The Customer shall sign ABI’s delivery acceptance schedule whenever ABI delivers or removes the equipment and the delivery acceptance schedule thus signed shall become an annexure to this agreement in replacement of the then existing delivery acceptance schedule. The Customer’s signature of the delivery acceptance schedule shall serve as confirmation that the equipment delivered under that delivery acceptance schedule is in good working order and condition and fit for the purposes for which it was supplied and was supplied in terms of this agreement. The Customer shall at its cost procure that the area where the equipment is to be installed under this agreement is and remains suitable for the housing of the equipment and that all electrical and plumbing connections necessary for the operation of the equipment are present and in good working order and that there is a continuous supply of electricity and other necessary consumables.
