Demotional Transfers. 1. The University shall maintain a listing of Employees who accept a demotional transfer in lieu of layoff. 2. Employees who accept demotional transfers in lieu of layoff shall be accorded the opportunity to return to their former positions in the event said position is reestablished within a period equal to their length of service up to three (3) years from the date of demotional transfer.
