Develop Trade Contractor interest in the Project. Advertise the Work to be bid and conduct pre-bid conferences with interested bidders to review the documents and take competitive bids on the Work of the various Trade Contractors; or, if authorized by the Owner in writing, negotiate for the performance of that Work. The Construction Manager shall prequalify subcontractors based on criteria established by the Construction Manager and may require bidders to submit bid bonds or other bid security acceptable to the Construction Manager as a prerequisite to bidding on the Work.
