Xxxxxxx: This Letter Agreement reflects the agreement reached in general negotiations regarding the Commercial Driver’s License Addendum (CDLA). The Company will convert the existing $600 CDLA premium to an hourly rate for those employees covered by a CDLA letter agreement. In addition, the CDLA hourly wage rate will be extended to additional classifications covered by this agreement. This agreement cancels and supersedes Letter Agreement R1-12-08. Details of the agreement are as follows:

Due to the retirement of the Principal, Xxxx Xxxxxxxx, the Company and Union have proposed to jointly administer the CJES in the future.
DIRECTOR AND CHIEF NEGOTIATOR. Local Union No. 1245 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, AFL-CIO X.X.Xxx 0000 Xxxxxx Xxxxx, XX 00000 In Letter Agreement 97-92, a Joint Company-Union Committee was established to review the existing Title 200 and Title 300 Electrician Training Programs and recommend changes/updates as necessary. That committee has concluded its review of the full training program and provided a recommendation to the Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee that the two programs be revised and combined into one Substation Apprentice Electrician Training Program. All academic requirements of Title 200 and 300 employees are the same and all provisions of the applicable Master Apprenticeship Agreement will apply. In addition, Letter Agreement R1-99-57, which provides for making temporary training assignments of Title 200 Apprentices to Title 300 job locations, Title 300 Apprentices to Title 200 headquarters or Title 200 Apprentices to another Title 200 headquarters will remain in effect. Attached is a copy of the revised training guidelines for Title 200 and 300 Apprentice Electricians. In addition, the JATC recommends that this Sub committee remain in tact, with JATC oversight, providing the ability to reconvene on future Electrician training matters. This proposal has been reviewed and approved to replace the existing programs by the Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee. Sox 4790 Xxxxxx Xxxxx, XX 00000 Pursuant to Section 205.19 of the Physical Agreement, Company proposes to place Xxxxx Xxxxx, a Title 200 Electrician, currently headquartered at Midway, as an Apprentice Electrical Technician at Bakersfield Substation Maintenance. The pre-bid list for Apprentice Electrical Technician at Bakersfield Substation Maintenance has been exhausted, and the position is currently unrestricted (URA). Xx. Xxxxx has taken the Apprentice Electrical Technician qualifying test and failed to pass it. However, he was interviewed by the hiring supervisor, along with another employee, and recommended by the supervisor for placement due to his demonstrated abilities and success in the Apprentice Electrician program. Xx. Xxxxx entered the Title 300 Apprentice Electrician program, which is the same program as Title 200, in March 1998, completing the training in March 2001. He has worked as an Electrician since that time, first in GC Construction, and currently as a T200 Electrician in the Maintenance Department. Since the Electrician position is in the Line of Progression, for Electrical Technician, Xx. Xxxxx is well prepared to enter the Apprentice Electrical Technician program.

The proposed changes are recommendations from the ad hoc negotiating committee established in the 1999 General Negotiations settlement letter dated October 27, 1999. This committee was originally charged with updating the Gas Transmission and Distribution Lines of Progression, and subsequently was given the Gas Measurement and Control group as well. Mr. Xxxxx Xxxxxx and Xx. Xxxxx Xxxxx co-chaired the Committee. This document will replace the book dated March 1994. The proposed changes are as follows:
