Dues and Privileges of Members to Begin on Admission Upon the acceptance and approval of such Application, the applicant shall be deemed to be admitted to membership in the Club. Membership dues, payable monthly in advance, shall commence to accrue from the date of admission to membership and shall continue month-to-month unless cancelled or terminated as provided in the By-Laws. Club privileges shall commence from the same date. Notwithstanding the foregoing, (i) no initiation fee or membership dues shall be payable on account of the Owners Memberships (inasmuch as the facilities of the Club are amenities of such residential units, and such residential units are subject to an allocation of the costs of the Club by reason thereof), and (ii) membership dues shall go to offset the costs of the Club allocated to the 701 residential units.

  • RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES OF THE ASSOCIATION 3.1 Recognition:

  • POWERS OF MEMBERS The Members shall have the power to exercise any and all rights or powers granted to the Members pursuant to the express terms of this Agreement. Except as expressly provided herein, the Members shall have no power to bind the Company and no authority to act on behalf of the Company.

  • Rights of Members Except as otherwise provided in this Agreement, (a) each Member shall look solely to the assets of the Company for the return of its Capital Contribution, (b) no Member shall have the right or power to demand or receive property other than cash from the Company and (c) except as provided in this Agreement, no Member shall have priority over any other Member as to the return of its Capital Contributions, distributions or allocations.

  • Duties of Members Each Member shall use his or her best efforts to promote the business of the LLC.

  • Maintenance of Membership Any Employee who is a member in good standing, or is reinstated as a member of the Union shall, as a condition of continued employment, maintain such membership in good standing throughout the term of this Agreement.

  • Rights and Privileges All participants enrolled in courses pursuant to the CONTRACT shall be entitled to all the rights and privileges to which other CONTRACTOR students are entitled, including, but not limited to, special instruction, use of facilities on CONTRACTOR’s premises such as the libraries and learning centers, counseling, student body activities, and veterans’ benefits. CONTRACTOR’s representatives will provide academic counseling for participants and inform them of CONTRACTOR’s services available to them.

  • TRANSFERS AND PROMOTIONS Section 1. Notices of lateral transfer opportunities shall be posted for at least five (5) days on division bulletin boards and in branch offices. If an employee desires to transfer, he/she must submit a written request to Human Resources.

  • VACANCIES, PROMOTIONS AND TRANSFERS A. The Board recognizes that it is desirable in making assignments to consider the interests and aspirations of its teachers. Requests by a teacher for a transfer to a different class, building, or position shall be made in writing, one copy of which shall be filed with the Superintendent. Such requests shall be renewed once each year to assure active consideration by the Board. The Board will give serious consideration to such requests.

  • ASSOCIATION RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES A. The Board agrees to furnish to the Association in response to reasonable requests from time to time, available information in the public domain.
