DURATION AND RENEGOTIATION. A. This Agreement shall become effective upon Association ratification and Board of Education adoption, and shall remain in full force to and including June 30, 2016. B. Negotiations for a successor Agreement shall be subject to the following provisions: Initial proposals for a successor Agreement may be made on or after the first regularly scheduled Board meeting in March, 2016 and negotiations shall commence within ten (10) days following the second regularly scheduled Board meeting subsequent to the presentation of the initial proposal.

D. Notwithstanding the above, the parties agree that issues of mutual interest may be bargained over during the term of this Agreement.

DURATION AND RENEGOTIATION. A. This Agreement shall be effective as of July 1, 2020 2022, and shall continue in full force and effect until June 30, 2022 2025. The contract will be closed for 2018/19 and 2019/20. Salary, health benefits, class size, two articles selected by each party will be open for negotiation in 2017/18. B. The Association shall submit its initial proposal for a successor agreement for 2022/23 2025/26 by the second regularly-scheduled Board meeting in March. The Association and the District shall begin negotiations within five (5) days of the completion of the public notice procedures. It is the intent of the Association and the District to initiate negotiations not later than fifteen (15) days following the first meeting of the Board of Trustees in April to allow the negotiation teams to develop the respective proposal.
