Early Childhood Educator. II — A qualified member of staff responsible for the overall child care program including coordination of staff duties.

Early Childhood Educator. An employee who has completed the basic education requirements; has the required work experience; is suitable to provide care for children between the ages of three years and school age; and is registered as an Early Childhood Educator under the CCF Act; who assists the Senior Supervisor in the provision of a caring and educational program for the children in the centre.

Early Childhood Educator. A staff person who is +3 qualified and is in the process of taking their -3 training. Early Childhood Assistant – A staff person who is the process of taking their +3 training.
Early Childhood Educator a qualified member of the staff engaged in caring for children and under the direction of the Facility Director.
Early Childhood Educator. An employee who has completed the basic education requirements; has the required work experience; is suitable to provide care for children between the ages of three years and school age; and is registered as an Early Childhood Educator under the CCF Act; who assists the Senior Supervisor in the provision of a caring and educational program for the children in the centre. Infant/Toddler Educator - An employee who has completed the post-basic education requirements; has the required work experience; is suitable to provide care for children between the ages of six weeks and three years; and is registered as an Infant/Toddler Educator under the CCF Act; who assists the Senior Supervisor in the provision of a caring and educational program for the children in the centre.
Early Childhood Educator. (c) The bumping process shall be as follows:
(d) Step 1 - Same Title/Same Level/Same Shift
i) Displace the least senior employee in their same job title on the same shift (i.e. day shift or afternoon shift), within a zone of the employee’s choice who has the same or more annual hours unless the employee chooses to bump the least senior employee with less annual hours. (4 zones as per Appendix ‘1’)
ii) If this condition does not exist or if the employee’s only option(s) would require the employee to travel more than 60 km one way from their home and they choose not to do so then:
(e) Step 2 - Same Title/Same Level
i) Displace the least senior employee in their same job title within a zone of the employee’s choice who has the same or more annual hours unless the employee chooses to bump the least senior employee with less annual hours. (4 zones as per Appendix ‘1’)
ii) If this condition does not exist or if the employee’s only option(s) would require the employee to travel more than 60 km one way from their home and they choose not to do so then:
(f) Step 3 - Same Occupational Group/Same Level/ Same Shift
i) Displace the least senior employee in their same occupational group, in the same level, on the same shift (i.e. day shift and afternoon shift), within a zone of the employee’s choice, who has the same or more number of annual hours unless the employee chooses to bump the least senior employee with less annual hours.
ii) If this condition does not exist or if the employee’s only option(s) would require the employee to travel more than 60 km one way from their home and they choose not to do so then:
(g) Step 4- Same Occupational Group/Same Level
i) Displace the least senior employee in their same occupational group in the same level within a zone of the employee’s choice, who has the same or more number of annual hours unless the employee chooses to bump the least senior employee with less annual hours.
ii) If this condition does not exist or if the employee’s only option(s) would require the employee to travel more than 60 km one way from their home and they choose not to do so then:
(h) Step 5 - Same Occupational Group/Lower Level
i) Displace the least senior employee in their same occupational group within a zone of the employee’s choice, at a lower level in a sequential manner (i.e. 5, 4, 3, etc.) who has the same or more number of annual hours unless the employee chooses to bump the least senior employee with less annual hours.
