Electrical Apprentices. The following provisions shall apply to apprentice electricians. (a) Overtime is part of and covered by the Annualised wage and no additional monies will be paid for overtime. (b) Call-ins" are part of and covered by the Annualised wage and no additional monies will be paid for call-ins. (c) An employee attending a training course, including training for another operating position, which falls on a day off will not be paid any additional wages as additional hours have been included in the Annualised Wage to cover these events. The parties specifically recognise that time spent by employees attending "Teams Training" courses is included in the Annualised Wage. Time spent on "Teams Training" courses will be capped at 2 days per annum. (d) Those apprentices who work on a public holiday will be entitled to a day off in lieu at a time agreeable to his team. Where a public holiday falls on a day an employee is not scheduled to work the employee will not get paid for the public holiday as the day will be treated the same as if the holiday were to fall on an unworked Saturday. (e) Sick leave will be 60.8 hours for each 12 months of service and paid at the new Annualised wage on an hourly basis in accordance with the requirement of the Award. (f) Annual leave will be 152 hours for each 12 months of service and paid at the new Annualised wage on an hourly basis in accordance with the requirements of the Award. (g) RDO’s will equal 104 hours for each 12 months of service and paid at the new Annualised wage on an hourly basis in accordance with the requirements of the Award.\ (h) Details of the components and calculation of the Annualised wage are set out in "Schedule F" of the Agreement. An apprentice who holds the appropriate first aid certificate(s) will have his/her Annualised wage increased by $375.96 per annum. ($7.23 per week).

  • APPRENTICES 6.36.1 The Contractor acknowledges and agrees that, if this Contract involves a dollar amount greater than or a number of working days greater than that specified in Labor Code Section 1777.5, this Contract is governed by the provisions of Labor Code Section 1777.5. It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to ensure compliance with this Article and with Labor Code Section 1777.5 for all apprenticeable occupations. 6.36.2 Pursuant to Labor Code Section 1777.5 if that Section applies to this Contract as indicated above, the Contractor and any subcontractors under him employing workers in any apprenticeable craft or trade in performing any work under this Contract shall apply to the applicable joint apprenticeship committee for a certificate approving the Contractor or subcontractor under the applicable apprenticeship standards and fixing the ratio of apprentices to journeymen employed in performing the work. 6.36.3 Pursuant to Labor Code Section 1777.5 if that Section applies to this Contract as indicated above, he Contractor and any subcontractor under him may be required to make contributions to the apprenticeship program. 6.36.4 The Contractor and all subcontractors under him shall comply with Labor Code Section 1777.6 which Section forbids certain discriminatory practices in the employment of apprentices.

  • Adult Apprentices 26.1 Adult apprentices are apprentices who commence their apprenticeship at the age of 21 years or older. Adult apprentices engaged under any of the classifications set out in Appendix 1 and will be paid a minimum rate equal to the rate of pay for a second-year apprentice, for the first two years of the apprenticeship, then on parity with other apprentices for the third and fourth years.

  • Electrical appliance safety The Hirer shall ensure that any electrical appliances brought by them to the premises and used there shall be safe, in good working order, and used in a safe manner in accordance with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. Where a residual circuit breaker is provided the hirer must make use of it in the interests of public safety.

  • Apprentice Wages (a) Apprentices’ rates of pay are set out in Appendix B which includes the description of the calculations.

  • Electrical Service Electrical service for new construction or a renovated existing building shall be 480/277-volt, 3-phase, 4-wire or approved equal. Service shall be sized for HVAC and other mechanical system(s) loads, lighting, general building services, and dedicated computer based office equipment loads. 5 xxxxx per square foot shall be provided for lighting and general service receptacles. Size of neutral conductor of 3- phase circuits shall be twice that of phase conductor to accommodate potential harmonic currents associated with computer system electronic power supplies and fluorescent lighting fixtures electronic ballasts.

  • ELECTRICAL SERVICES The Company must construct and reticulate electrical requirements for all amenities and facilities. The Company must construct sub-station and distribution boards necessary to reticulate power to all Company owned or leased facilities which provide amenities to the public. The electrical installation must be to the design and installation standards of the State Energy Commission of Western Australia. All electrical reticulation must be placed underground.

  • System Upgrades The Connecting Transmission Owner shall procure, construct, install, and own the System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades described in Attachment 6 of this Agreement. To the extent that design work is necessary in addition to that already accomplished in the Class Year Interconnection Facilities Study for the Interconnection Customer, the Connecting Transmission Owner shall perform or cause to be performed such work. If all the Parties agree, the Interconnection Customer may construct System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades. 5.2.1 As described in Section 32.3.5.3 of the SGIP in Attachment Z of the ISO OATT, the responsibility of the Interconnection Customer for the cost of the System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades described in Attachment 6 of this Agreement shall be determined in accordance with Attachment S of the ISO OATT, as required by Section 32.3.5.3.2

  • Apprentice Employment and

  • Electrical Equipment Residents must use only CSA, UL-approved or Canadian-certified electrical equipment; the rated wattage of light fixtures must never be exceeded; and only replacement bulbs supplied by Waterloo maintenance staff may be used. Do not leave any unattended electrical equipment turned on (i.e. hair straighteners, lights etc.)

  • STUDENTS AND APPRENTICES Payments which a student or business apprentice who is or was immediately before visiting a Contracting State a resident of the other Contracting State and who is present in the first-mentioned State solely for the purpose of his education or training receives for the purpose of his maintenance, education or training shall not be taxed in that State, provided that such payments arise from sources outside that State.
