Electrical Worker Grade 8. An Electrical Worker Grade 8 is an Electrical Worker Grade 5 who has successfully completed a Post Trade Certificate or nine (9) appropriate modules towards an Advanced Certificate or an AQF Diploma in Electrotechnology or their equivalent, or an AQF Certificate Level IV in Electrotechnology. In addition, this Employee has had not less than two (2) year’s experience as an Electrical Worker Grade 7 and is employed to use the skills acquired through the training and/or experience specified; ▪ Included in this grade is the work of: ▪ Advanced electrical tradesperson level 1; ▪ Advanced electronic/communications serviceperson level 1; ▪ Advanced instrument tradesperson level 1; ▪ Advanced electrical tradesperson powerline level 1.
