Common use of EMERGENCY ANSWERING SERVICE Clause in Contracts

EMERGENCY ANSWERING SERVICE. Agent agrees to maintain a 24-hour emergency answering service at no additional cost to Owner. However, in the event an emergency maintenance call is necessary, Owner agrees to pay Agent the then current hourly rate for emergency personnel dispatched after normal business hours. For purposes of this Agreement, normal business hours are from 8:00 am. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays All charges are door to door.
