Emergency Medical Evacuation. This Section 6. shall only apply to events that occur outside of Hong Kong during the Policy Period. When as a result of an Injury sustained or Sickness commencing while the Insured Person is outside of Hong Kong during the Policy Period and if in the opinion of the Company or its authorized representative, it is judged medically appropriate to move the Insured Person to another location for medical treatment, or to return the Insured Person to the city of OEI or Hong Kong, the Company or its authorized representative shall arrange for the evacuation utilizing the means best suited to do so, based on the medical severity of the Insured Person's condition. The Company shall pay directly to the medical provider the Covered Expenses for such evacuation. Covered Expenses are expenses for services provided and/or arranged by the Company or its authorized representative for the transportation, medical services and medical supplies necessarily incurred as a result of an emergency medical evacuation of an Insured Person as described herein. The means of evacuation arranged by the Company or its authorized representative may include air ambulance, surface ambulance, regular air transportation, railroad or any other appropriate means. All decisions as to the means of transportation and the final destination will be made by the Company or its authorized representative according to medical necessity. The Insured Person or a person on his/her behalf must contact Travel Guard Assistance Hotline at (000) 0000 0000 for the arrangement.
Emergency Medical Evacuation. We will indemnify the Reasonable and Customary Charges for the Insured Person’s Medical Evacuation in an Emergency and for which medical facilities are not available locally, but within the regions specified in the Schedule of Insurance Certificate during the Policy Period on Cashless Facility basis only provided that:
Emergency Medical Evacuation. If the Member sustains an Injury or suffers a sudden and unexpected illness, and adequate medical treatment is not available in his/her current location, the Service Provider will arrange and pay for a medically supervised evacuation to the nearest medical facility that the Service Provider determines to be capable of providing appropriate medical treatment. The Member’s medical condition and situation must be such that, in the professional opinion of the health care provider and United Healthcare Global, the Member shall require immediate emergency medical treatment, without which there would be a significant risk of death or serious impairment.
Emergency Medical Evacuation. Intl.SOS will arrange and pay for the ordinary and necessary expense of air and/ or surface transportation, medical care during transportation, communications and all usual and customary ancillary charges incurred in moving and transporting a Member to the nearest hospital where appropriate medical care is available, which may be a location other than the Member’s Place of Residence or Host Country. Intl.SOS reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to determine whether the Member’s medical condition is sufficiently serious to warrant medical evacuation, the location to which the Member will be evacuated and the means or method by which such evacuation will be carried out. In making such arrangements, Intl.SOS may consider all relevant circumstances including, but not limited to the Member’s medical condition, the degree of urgency, the Member’s fitness to travel, airport availability, weather conditions and travel distance in determining whether transportation will be provided by private medically equipped aircraft, helicopter, regular scheduled flight, rail or land vehicle. Transportation shall be carried out under constant medical supervision, unless otherwise approved by an Intl.SOS physician.
Emergency Medical Evacuation. Xxxxxx will arrange and coordinate for medical evacuation of a Customer if such evacuation is necessary due to Customer’s medical condition. The evacuation will be performed to nearest medical facility where appropriate medical services are available, in accordance with the recommendation of the Customer’s primary medical services provider/s, such as the Medical Service Provider/x. Xxxxxx will consider all relevant known circumstances relating to such evacuation, including but not limited to the degree of urgency, the Customer’s fitness and ability to travel, the means of transport whether by air, land or sea, weather conditions, travel distance, political circumstances etc.. Transportation shall be to the extent practicable, carried out under medical supervision, unless otherwise approved by Customer’s primary medical services provider/s, such as the Medical Service Provider/s.
Emergency Medical Evacuation. In the event of an accident or sudden illness, that is not Pre-Existing and which is acute, the Assistance Company will take charge of transferring the Covered Person to a properly equipped health centre or repatriating to his/her Country of Residence. The Assistance Company’s medical team will maintain the telephone contacts necessary with the doctors attending to the Covered Person and will decide which health centre the Covered Person is transferred to or whether repatriation is necessary, depending on the situation or gravity of the state the latter is in. Assistance Company will arrange the evacuation, using the means it deems suitable, based on the medical evaluation of the seriousness of the Covered Person’s condition. These means may include air ambulance, surface ambulance, regular airplane, railroad or other appropriate means. All decisions relating to the means of transportation and final destination will be made by Assistance Company. Approval and arrangements shall be taken from Assistance Company. In case any transportation or arrangement is made without obtaining prior approval from Assistance Company, fees shall be paid by the Covered Person. The most We will pay for this cover is subject to a Policy limit.

When as a result of an Injury sustained or Sickness commencing while the Insured Person is traveling overseas during the insured Journey and if in the opinion of the Company or its authorized representative, it is judged medically appropriate to move the Insured Person to another location for medical treatment, or to return the Insured Person to Hong Kong or his/her habitual residence, the Company or its authorized representative shall arrange for the evacuation utilizing the means best suited to do so, based on the medical severity of the Insured Person’s condition. The Company shall pay directly to the medical provider the Covered Expenses for such evacuation. Covered Expenses are expenses for services provided and/or arranged by the Company or its authorized representative for the transportation, medical services and medical supplies necessarily incurred as a result of an emergency medical evacuation of an Insured Person as described herein. The means of evacuation arranged by the Company or its authorized representative may include air ambulance, surface ambulance, regular air transportation, railroad or any other appropriate means. All decisions as to the means of transportation and the final destination will be made by the Company or its authorized representative and will be based solely upon medical necessity. The Insured Person or a person on his/her behalf must contact Travel Guard Assistance Hotline at (000) 0000 0000 for the arrangement.
Emergency Medical Evacuation. We will indemnify the Reasonable and Customary Charges incurred up to the limit of Medical Care Section specified in the Schedule for the Insured’s evacuation in an Emergency during the Period of Insurance provided that:
Emergency Medical Evacuation. Should you suffer from bodily injury or illness such that Inter Partner Assistance Hong Kong Limited (hereinafter called IPA)’s medical team and the attending physician recommend hospitalisation in another medical facility where you can be suitably treated IPA will arrange and pay for: - The transfer of you into one of the nearest hospital and, - If necessary, on medical grounds The transfer of you with necessary medical supervision by any means (including but not limited to air ambulance, scheduled commercial flight, and road ambulance) to a hospital more appropriately equipped for the particular bodily injury or illness. The medical team and attending physician will determine the necessary arrangements according to the circumstances.
Emergency Medical Evacuation. If The MEMBER suffers an INJURY or ILLNESS and in the professional opinion of both Global Emergency Travel Services’ Medical Director and the attending physician, the INJURED or ILL party is: 🏱 Not receiving adequate treatment from the facility, they are at; 🏱 The medical condition and situation require immediate emergency medical treatment, without which there would be a significant risk of death or serious impairment; Global Emergency Travel Services will provide an emergency evacuation (under medical supervision, if neces- sary) by whatever means necessary to the nearest facility capable of providing adequate care. Services include that Global Emergency Travel Services will: 🏱 Arrangement and payment of the transportation; 🏱 Arrangement and payment of the cost of a medical escort if necessary. 🏱 Medically Necessary Repatriation: MEDICALLY NECESSARY REPATRIATION Global Emergency Travel Services will transfer The MEMBER, by whatever means necessary, to a medical facility near HOME or directly to HOME for continuing care provided: 🏱 The MEMBER has been Evacuated under the “Emergency Medical Evacuation” benefit as described Above; or 🏱 The MEMBER has become stabilized from treatment for an INJURY or ILLNESS at an adequate facility, and it has been deemed necessary by both Global Emergency Travel Services’ Medical Director and the attending physician that the INJURED or ILL party cannot continue their trip and must return home immediately to recover, Services include that Global Emergency Travel Services will:
