EMERGENCY PROVISIONS. Notwithstanding any other provision in the Charter or these Bylaws, this Section 3.16 shall apply during the existence of any catastrophe, or other similar emergency condition, as a result of which a quorum of the Board of Directors under Article III of these Bylaws cannot readily be obtained (an “Emergency”). During any Emergency, unless otherwise provided by the Board of Directors, (i) a meeting of the Board of Directors or a committee thereof may be called by any director or officer by any means feasible under the circumstances; (ii) notice of any meeting of the Board of Directors during such an Emergency may be given less than 24 hours prior to the meeting to as many directors and by such means as may be feasible at the time, including publication, television or radio; and (iii) the number of directors necessary to constitute a quorum shall be one-third of the entire Board of Directors.
EMERGENCY PROVISIONS. 46.1 If the safety of the officer during emergency conditions or other City-directed operational needs makes it necessary for the City to prescribe the areas in which officers may eat their meals, the City shall be obligated to furnish adequate meals.

During any Emergency, unless otherwise provided by the Board of Trustees, (a) a meeting of the Board of Trustees may be called by any Managing Trustee or officer of the Trust by any means feasible under the circumstances and (b) notice of any meeting of the Board of Trustees during such an Emergency may be given less than 24 hours prior to the meeting to as many Trustees and by such means as it may be feasible at the time, including publication, television or radio. EMERGENCY PROVISIONS. This Agreement shall remain in full force and effect except in the case of an emergency. The determination that an emergency exists is excluded from the provisions of Article X,
EMERGENCY PROVISIONS. The District retains the right to amend, modify or rescind policies and practices referred to in this Agreement in the event of an emergency. Issues arising out of the exercise of the provisions of this Article, including facts underlying such exercise, shall be expressly excluded from the Procedures for Processing Grievances contained in this Agreement. An "emergency" is defined as a natural or man-made disaster, act of God, war, fire, financial crisis, or other extraordinary occurrence beyond the control of the District which interferes with the normal operations of the District. During any Emergency, unless otherwise provided by the Board of Trustees, (i) a meeting of the Board of Trustees or a committee thereof may be called by any Trustee or officer by any means feasible under the circumstances; (ii) notice of any meeting of the Board of Trustees during such an Emergency may be given less than 24 hours prior to the meeting to as many Trustees and by such means as may be feasible at the time, including publication, television or radio; and (iii) the number of Trustees necessary to constitute a quorum shall be one-third of the entire Board of Trustees.
EMERGENCY PROVISIONS. 1. If any contractors for Blue Plains biosolids reuse and/or disposal service unexpectedly cease operations for any reason, all Parties shall cooperate in order to continue transportation and management of the quantities of Blue Plains biosolids defined in the 2012 IMA and this Agreement.
