Common use of EMERGENCY WAIVER PROVISION Clause in Contracts

EMERGENCY WAIVER PROVISION. In the event of circumstances beyond the control of the Town, such as acts of God, fire, flood, insurrection, civil disorder, national emergency, or similar circumstances, provisions of this Memorandum of Understanding or the Personnel Rules and Regulations of the Town which restrict the Town's ability to respond to these emergencies shall be suspended for the duration of such emergency. After the emergency is over, the Association shall have the right to meet and confer with the Town regarding the impact on employees of the suspension of these provisions in the Memorandum of Understanding and any Personnel Rules and policies.
