Common use of Employee Annual Health Examination Clause in Contracts

Employee Annual Health Examination. Employees of the County who work in a Health Services Department facility will annually be required to complete a Health Questionnaire and take a Tuberculosis Skin Test. A chest X-ray will be required if the employee has previously had a positive reaction to a tuberculosis skin test. However employees will not be required to take X-ray exams in excess of what is required by applicable Federal and State laws. Employees will also be requested to be screened for Rubella immunity. If the result of the Rubella test is negative, the appointing authority or designee will recommend that the employee become immunized. If an employee has direct patient contact and refuses to become immunized, said employee will be relocated to an indirect patient contact area.
