Employee Response to Notice of Layoff. Within five (5) days of receipt of notice of layoff, the employee shall notify the Employer in writing of his/her intention to: (i) accept a transfer to a vacant or new position, (ii) exercise displacement, (iii) take early retirement, if eligible, (iv) accept a layoff with recall rights, or (v) accept severance pay and waive recall rights.
