Employees' Rights - Employer-Employee Relations. SEIU and the Court of San Xxxxxxx recognize that each employee shall have the following rights which he/she may exercise in accordance with this Memorandum, Employer-Employee Relations Policy, applicable law, ordinances and rules and regulations: A. The right to form, join, and participate in the activities of any labor organization of his/her own choosing for the purpose of representation on all matters within the scope of representation. B. The right to be free from interference, intimidation, restraint, coercion, discrimination, or reprisal on the part of the Court, other employees or employee organizations, with respect to his/her membership or non- membership in any employee organization or with respect to any lawful activity. C. The right to refuse to join or participate in the activities of any employee organization. D. The right to represent himself/herself individually in his/her employee relations with the Court. The Union or any employee or group of employees who has a complaint regarding the exercise of rights under this provision may file charges in writing with the Court Executive Officer and serve the charged party in accordance with the Employer- Employee Relations Policy.
