Common use of Enhanced Sick Pay Entitlement Clause in Contracts

Enhanced Sick Pay Entitlement. A Musician who is absent from any rehearsal or performance due to illness shall, in each period of 12 months commencing with the date of the Musician’s first rehearsal and subject to the Musician completing the first four weeks of the engagement, be entitled to a total of 48 performances of Enhanced Sick Pay payable at one-eighth of the minimum weekly salary per performance missed. Enhanced sick pay is payable from the first day of illness.
