Equity Membership Candidates. The University and/or Theatre may employ as Membership Candidates any bona fide students, who are matriculated in a degree- granting program, or have graduated from such a program within the previous three years, who are not members of any branch of the 4 A’s and/or who are not members of performers’ union outside the United States. The University and/or Theatre shall provide documentation verifying the dates and institutions of matriculation for all such students. The preceding notwithstanding, students who have graduated shall be bound by all prevailing provisions of the Equity Membership Candidate (“EMC”) program, including but not limited to maximum creditable workweeks that may be earned as a Membership Candidate. A Membership Candidate is a student who is interested in obtaining training for the theatre and who intends to make a career in the professional theatre and is properly registered with Equity.

  • Exchange Teaching An employee on continuing or professional service contract may be granted a leave of absence for one year for the purpose of exchange teaching. Exchange teaching shall be limited to accredited public school systems, colleges and universities or similar institutions. The cooperating school system, college or university must furnish an employee to take the place of the employee released by the Board. The released employee shall draw full salary plus the value of any supplements performed by the cooperating employee. Application for exchange teaching for the next school year must be made by April 15.

  • Clearcutting Units All trees that meet Utilization Standards within “Clearcutting Units” are designated for cutting.

  • Unit Members Whenever used in this Agreement, the term “Employee” shall mean all classroom teachers (pre- K-12), counselors, librarians (and/or their successor job title and/or classification), psychologists, social workers, home and hospital teachers, department heads, master teachers, academic coaches, instructional associates, instructional support teachers, educational associates, speech/language speech-language pathologists, audiologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, facilitators, consulting teachers, IEP Team Associates, pupil personnel worker, teacher – mentor, teacher – staff developer, and art, music and physical education resource teachers.

  • New Members No person may be admitted as a member of the Company without the approval of the Member.

  • Career Development The City and the Union agree that employee career growth can be beneficial to both the City and the affected employee. As such, consistent with training needs identified by the City and the financial resources appropriated therefore by the City, the City shall provide educational and training opportunities for employee career growth. Each employee shall be responsible for utilizing those training and educational opportunities made available by the City or other institutions for the self- development effort needed to achieve personal career goals.

  • Career Development Leave (a) Career development refers to an activity which, in the opinion of the Employer, is likely to be of assistance to the individual in furthering his or her career development and to the organization in achieving its goals. The following activities shall be deemed to be part of career development:

  • Exit Interview Upon termination of Employee’s employment for any reason, Employee agrees, if requested, to participate in an exit interview with the Company and reaffirm in writing Employee’s post-employment obligations as set forth in this Agreement.
