Exchange Commission Clause Samples
The 'Exchange Commission' clause defines the fees or commissions payable to an exchange or intermediary for facilitating a transaction, such as the buying or selling of securities, commodities, or other assets. Typically, this clause outlines the percentage or fixed amount to be paid, the timing of payment, and any conditions under which the commission is earned or forfeited. Its core practical function is to ensure transparency and agreement regarding compensation for exchange services, thereby preventing disputes over payment and clarifying the financial obligations of the parties involved.
