Existing Laws. Nothing in this Agreement shall require a Party to take any action, or to refrain from acting, in a manner that is inconsistent with its existing laws, or require any change in the laws of the Parties or of their respective provinces or states.
Existing Laws. In signing the agreement, the parties agree to abide by and enforce the terms and provisions of the agreement to the full extent of applicable existing laws, regulations, and policies.

If any Laws in existence as of the date of this Lease require an alteration or modification of the Premises (a "Code Modification") and such Code Modification (i) is not made necessary as a result of the specific use being made by Tenant of the Premises (as distinguished from an alteration or improvement which would be required to be made by the owner of any building comparable to the Building irrespective of the use thereof by any particular occupant), and (ii) is not made necessary as a result of any alteration of the Premises by Tenant, then such Code Modification shall be performed by Landlord at Landlord's sole cost and expense.
