Common use of Expenditure by the Trustee Clause in Contracts

Expenditure by the Trustee. Nothing contained in this Deed shall require the Trustee to do anything which may (i) be illegal or contrary to applicable Law; or (ii) cause it to expend or risk its own funds or otherwise incur any financial liability in the performance of its duties or the exercise of any right, power, authority or discretion hereunder if it has not first been indemnified and/or secured and/or prefunded to its satisfaction.
