Facilities and Amenities. The Allottee shall use and enjoy the facilities and amenities meant to be used and enjoyed in terms of the said Facilities Sharing Agreement in common with the Transferees of the adjoining project. The membership and the right to use the club facilities shall always be subject to payment of charges, fees, taxes and observance of regulations as framed with regard thereto. It is clarified that certain facilities, areas and installations in the Club shall be made available on a pay and use basis.
Facilities and Amenities. The University recognizes the importance of office space for instructional faculty members. All members will be provided with a desk or other appropriate working table, a filing cabinet, telephone, mailbox, and a room in which the member can meet privately with students. Adjunct faculty will be provided with dedicated workspaces if available. Facilities and Amenities. 7.1 UBC, as landlord of long term strata lot leases and rental housing located within the Neighbourhood Housing Areas, has and shall have the responsibility to construct and pay for Facilities and Amenities. It is understood that UBC may employ or contract with others, including UBC Properties Trust, to carry out this obligation as may be required from time to time.
7.2 In furtherance of the UNA’s mandate to promote the development of good neighbourhoods:
(a) UBC will grant a licence to the UNA on mutually agreeable terms to operate, maintain, repair, and replace each UNA Facility and Amenity; and
(b) the UNA will operate, maintain, repair and replace the UNA Facilities and Amenities in accordance with said licences.
7.3 A description of the UNA Facilities and Amenities is set out in Schedule “C”. The parties agree that the parties may include additional items within the definition of UNA Facilities or the definition of UNA Amenities, and they will amend Schedule “C” accordingly (and may do so by simply executing a new Schedule “C”).
7.4 The UNA will adopt such rules as may be necessary to control and manage use of and access to the UNA Facilities and Amenities and to ensure that the safety, security and protection of the UNA Facilities and Amenities are managed to a standard normally adopted by municipalities for similar facilities and amenities. The UNA shall consult with UBC’s Campus and Community Planning Department prior to adopting any such rules and shall not unreasonably refuse to make amendments to same that may be recommended by the Campus and Community Planning Department.
7.5 Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in this Agreement, the UNA understands and agrees that the University Academic Community may use the UNA Facilities and Amenities on the same basis as members of the general public.
7.6 The UNA and UBC acknowledge the Neighbourhood Housing Area naming principles which are currently set out in UBC Policy 124.
Facilities and Amenities. 6.1 The Member is entitled to use the shared facilities and amenities provided by the Provider, such as the kitchen, and common areas, but NOT the meeting rooms which will be made available to use for an additional fee. There is no guarantee the meeting rooms will be available for booking.
6.2 The Member shall adhere to any additional rules and regulations regarding the use of specific facilities.
6.3 Business Hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m, you are not permitted to be in the premises before or after that time.
6.4 All Access Members will be allocated a desk position withing the premises, which may be required from time to time be moved to a different desk without notice.
6.5 No pets are allowed in the premises.
Facilities and Amenities. The Wrigley Marine Science Center has a dock and pier, active helipad, dive locker and diver staging area. The research facilities include several laboratories, a computer lab, lecture hall, greenhouse, student lounge, and other amenities. The facility has an on-site dining facility and an on-site laundry room. However due to the extreme drought ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ is facing, we do ask that all visitors plan for only one laundry load during their visit. We are a primarily smoke-free facility. Smoking is only allowed in one designated outdoor area. We operate with a small staff and rely on your cooperation to help ensure a smooth operation. The local town of Two Harbors (two miles from campus) has one bar, restaurant and general store. The next largest town is on the other side of the island. Should you need to purchase anything, limited basic toiletries, over-the-counter medications, and basic food can be found at the Two Harbors General Store. These items tend to be expensive and are not guaranteed to be in stock, so please pack thoughtfully. (See Expedition Packing Checklist)
Facilities and Amenities. 23.1. The Company shall continue to provide facilities necessary to ensure adequate occupational health, safety and welfare of its employees including the provision of lockers, drinking and boiling water, appropriate protective clothing, heating, cooling and ventilation and rest room facilities. Any disagreements about the adequacy of facilities shall be dealt with through the consultative process of this Agreement and the dispute settlement procedure.
23.2. As a minimum the Company shall provide site huts for the exclusive use of their employees, unless the client company provide same. Site huts shall have the following amenities:
(a) Site huts shall be of such dimensions as to provide 8 square feet of floor space per person employed on the job with a minimum of 80 square feet.
(b) Coat hooks shall be provided in each site hut.
(c) Suitable and adequate seating accommodation together with a table shall be provided
(d) In the event of cold wet weather, reasonable heating facilities will be provided in site hut for warmth and the drying of clothes.
(e) Boiling water for tea making shall be provided.
(f) Artificial lights shall be provided where necessary.
(g) All site huts shall be weatherproof, soundly constructed with sufficient number of windows, shall be floored and lined with suitable material to the ceiling and walls where necessary, and shall be adequately ventilated and fly proofed.
(h) Tea, coffee, sugar, milk, fridges, pie warmers, air conditioning and microwaves will be provided in accordance with existing practices.
(i) A First Aid hut or room will be provided on project sites unless the client provides suitable facilities.
Facilities and Amenities. The Agency will provide the Union a single lockable glass door bulletin board adjacent to the Agency lockable bulletin board for the posting of Union notices at each floor in the building occupied by the Agency where such installation exists or is permitted. Union notices on Agency provided Bulletin Boards shall comply with established NSF Bulletin Board policy and criteria, and no other location(s) under management control, except the Union office, will be used by Local 3403 for the posting of Union items. Each item placed on a Bulletin Board shall be signed and dated by the President of the Union, or in the absence of such officer, by an officer designated by the President of the Union.
1. In accordance with Federal law, executive orders, government wide rules, the Agency will provide the Union with office and meeting space at room 3140 in the NSF headquarters building for use. The Agency will provide appropriate office furniture and telephone and computer equipment and services. The Union will be listed in the NSF telephone directory and on the main NSF directory board in the elevator lobbies on each floor. Management will attach to the outside wall of the Union office, adjacent to the office door, a standard sign with the Local's name and room number. If unforeseen circumstances arise due to directives of authorities outside of the Agency for workspace allocation, the Parties agree to negotiate space upon thirty (30) days notification to the Union. If a move is required, Management will move the furniture, supplies, equipment, telephone, etc., at no expense to the Union. The Union agrees to abide by the Agency security, maintenance, and utility conservation requirements. The Union agrees to use the space only for Union business.
2. The Union may receive its U. S. Mail via the NSF Mail Room; have access to the internal NSF mail system to communicate with its officers, stewards, committee members, bargaining unit employees and NSF management; and use NSF office and copying equipment to prepare and duplicate the Union's communications to NSF management and likewise management's communications for the use of the Local's officers, stewards, and committee members.
Facilities and Amenities. Office facilities, amenities, devices and instruments may be used carefully as guided. Damages may invite claim of compensation.
