Common use of Finality of Contract Modifications Clause in Contracts

Finality of Contract Modifications. As set forth elsewhere in this Contract, the Contractor is entitled to additional consideration under certain conditions, including the issuance of change orders. It is the Contractor's duty to include in proposals for equitable adjustment or other consideration all compensation to which it may be entitled, including cost and time. Unless otherwise explicitly stated in a modification to the Contract providing such consideration, adjustments to the Contract price or time agreed upon therein shall be deemed to provide all compensation to which the Contractor is entitled, and shall constitute final settlement of the Contractor's entitlement to compensation on account of the change or other condition giving rise to the modification.
