Flexibility of RDOs. The Rostered Days Off (RDO) schedule contained within the VBIA will be observed. Employees will receive an additional thirteen RDOs commencing 1st January 2003. As such, employee/s will receive 26 RDOs each year. Employees will actually work a forty-hour week in order to accrue the 26 RDOs and will be paid the all-purpose weekly rate specified in Appendix 1.
1. From 1/11/02 to 29/2/04 the ordinary working hours will be worked in a 10-day/2- week cycle, Monday to Friday inclusive, with eight hours worked for each of nine days, and with 0.4 of an hour per day accruing and 0.4 of an hour per day credited by the Employer towards the tenth day, which will be taken as a paid day off. The tenth day of the cycle will be known as the Rostered Day. Payment on such an RDO will include the daily ‘Fares & Traveling Allowance,’ and any applicable Site Allowance as prescribed by the VBIA.
2. From 1/3/04 the ordinary working hours will be worked in a 10-day/2-week cycle, Monday to Friday inclusive, with eight hours worked for each of nine days, and with 0.8 of an hour on each of those days accruing towards the tenth day, which will be taken as a paid day off. The tenth day of the cycle will be known as the Rostered Day Off. Payment on such an RDO will include the daily wages, Fares & Traveling Allowance, and any applicable Site Allowance as prescribed by the VBIA. Provided that twenty-six RDO’s will be accrued by an employee in each twelve months continuous service. This will not apply for the period on employee is on long service leave. The Employer will maintain a continuous reconciliation of hours worked or accrual against hours taken as RDO’s. If the employee terminates his/her employment for any reason this reconciliation will determine where any hours (or part thereof) should be deducted or credited to the employee’s final payment. Flexibility with RDOs is to be maintained at all times to meet business requirements. Flexibility with RDOs is a necessity in the Sprinkler Fitting Industry. RDOs may be shifted from the Industry calendar with the consent of the Union, employer, and employee/s concerned. The union will not withhold a reasonable request to work on an RDO where circumstances require it.
Flexibility of RDOs. The Rostered Days Off (RDO) schedule for 2009 at Appendix C will be observed. The 2010 RDO calendar will be agreed between the parties. Employee/s will receive 26 RDOs each year. The enterprise and a majority of employees and the employee representative may agree on the arrangements at Appendix C allowing flexibility regarding the taking of RDOs. Subject to Appendix C, RDOs will not be banked.
Flexibility of RDOs. 21.2.1 The Rostered Days Off (RDO) schedule for 2009 will be observed as set out in Appendix C. The 20010 and 2011 RDO calendar will be agreed between the parties. Employees will actually work a forty-hour week in order to accrue the 26 RDOs and will be paid the all-purpose weekly rate specified in Appendix A.
21.2.2 The ordinary working hours will be worked in a 10-day/2-week cycle, Monday to Friday inclusive, with eight hours worked for each of nine days, and with 0.8 of an hour on each of those days accruing towards the tenth day, which will be taken as a paid day off. 21.2.3 Provided that twenty-six RDOs will be accrued by an employee in each twelve months continuous service. This will not apply for the period an employee is on long service leave or unpaid leave.
21.2.4 The employer will maintain a continuous reconciliation of hours worked or accrual against hours taken as RDOs. If the employee terminates his/her employment for any reason this reconciliation will determine where any hours (or part thereof) should be deducted or credited to the employee’s final payment.
21.2.5 Flexibility with RDOs is to be maintained at all times to meet business requirements. Flexibility with RDOs is a necessity in the Sprinkler Fitting / Fire Protection Industry. RDOs may be shifted from the Industry calendar with the consent of the majority of employees and a majority of employees will not withhold a reasonable request to work on an RDO where circumstances require it.
Flexibility of RDOs. 17.1. Team Members accrue lieu time for the purpose of taking a rostered day off (RDO). Subject to clause 17.3 this time will accrue and be taken at a time agreed between the Team Member and the company, subject to the operational requirements of the business.
17.2. Team Members engaged on weekend shifts including Friday Night will be entitled to two RDO’s per calendar year falling on a weekend shift, subject to the operational requirements of the business. When a team member has a legitimate reason such as a family commitment to request an alternative or additional RDO, the team member will be encouraged first to swap their RDO with another Team Member. In circumstances where substitution is not possible Iplex may at its sole discretion approve an alternative or additional RDO. This alternative RDO may be counted as one of the 2 approved days pa if the Team Member has not used both days in that calendar year.
17.3. Iplex may at its sole discretion reschedule a Team Members RDO when there are periods of high absenteeism or workload.
17.4. Any Lieu Time not taken during the year will be paid out in December of each year.
Flexibility of RDOs. 8.8.1 The enterprise and a majority of employees and the employee representative may agree on flexibility regarding the taking of RDOs.

The Industry nominated RDO shall be observed provided that, subject to agreement between the employer and employees affected, the taking of RDOs may be altered on the following basis: A maximum of 5 RDO days may be banked at one time Can be taken on any work day The employer shall maintain a record of each employee's RDO's which shall be available for inspection by the employer and the employee and

The Industry nominated RDO shall be observed provided that, subject to agreement between the employer and employees affected, the taking of RDOs may be altered on the following basis: • Each RDO may be banked up to a maximum of 5 days in one year. • It should be taken in connection with a weekend (or holiday) but can by agreement be taken on any working day. • The employer shall maintain a record of each employee’s RDOs which shall be available for inspection by the employer and the employee and • To encourage the proper use of RDOs and leisure days by both parties, a roster may be compiled for a particular site, by the project manager/xxxxxxx in consultation and agreement with the employees on that site, to assist the company to achieve production deadlines.
Flexibility of RDOs. The industry nominated RDOs (see RDO calendar, Appendix 5) will generally be observed, however, flexibility with RDOs is a business necessity in the Sprinkler Fitter Industry. By agreement, RDOs may be moved to a mutually convenient day, and employees will not refuse a reasonable request to work on an RDO as circumstances require. Flexibility of working on RDOs is by mutual agreement provided that: - RDOs may be accumulated to a maximum of 5 days by agreement. - Where possible, a roster is compiled for the year, or duration of the job, whichever is shorter The employer will maintain a record of each employee's RDOs which will be available for inspection by the employee When employees are requested to defer their RDO due to shutdown work the employer will endeavour to provide work for the Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
Flexibility of RDOs. Rostered days off (RDO) shall fall on the days prescribed by the agreed industry schedule provided that these RDOs may be substituted for alternative days by agreement between the employer and employee without penalty to the employer in the following circumstances:
(a) An alternative day will allow the project to better meet completion dates or overcome or avoid delays to the programme.
(b) Any other reason that may be agreed between the employer and the employee and the relevant union.
(c) An alternative RDO is given within an agreed time frame or where agreed paid out in lieu at the completion of the project. RDOs may also be accumulated to a maximum of five where it is agreed between the employer and an employee or employees.
Flexibility of RDOs. 8.9.1 The Rostered Days Off (RDO) schedule will be observed however the enterprise and employee/s and the employee representative may agree on flexibility regarding the taking of RDOs. RDOs will not be banked.
