Common use of FOR ASSOCIATION BUSINESS Clause in Contracts

FOR ASSOCIATION BUSINESS. At the beginning of each school year, the Association shall be credited five (5) days to be used by teachers who are officers or agents of the Association, such use to be at the discretion of the Association. All applications must be made at least five (5) days prior to the absence (except in emergency). The Superintendent or his/her designee shall not be obligated to grant more than one (1) application during any one (1) day from any building, nor days immediately preceding or following school holidays. Association days shall not be deducted from sick leave.
