Formal Teaching Review Committee. The formal teaching review shall be conducted by the Divisional Chair(s), the Departmental Chair and the full-time faculty peer reviewer(s) from the same department. In the case of Writing Lab Instructors, the formal teaching review shall be conducted by the Divisional Chair of Humanities, the Departmental Chair of English or a designated member of the department, and a full- time faculty peer reviewer from Humanities. In the case of Math Lab Instructors, the formal teaching review shall be conducted by the Divisional Chair of Science, the Departmental Chair of Math and Computer Science or a designated member of the department, and a full-time faculty peer reviewer from Science. With the exception of the in-class reviewers, the candidate will have the right and opportunity to declare a conflict of interest with a maximum of two of the aforementioned reviewers, or their replacements, and may ask to have them replaced. The Xxxx, in consultation with the Division Chairs, a part-time faculty member from each division selected by AUFA, and the Director of Human Resources, will create a Part- time Contract Faculty evaluation policy by September 30th, 2014. This policy will include step-by-step procedures and expectations to be carried out by the Formal Teaching Review Committee when evaluating Part-time Contract Faculty to ensure consistency in the practice, along with prescribed University Administration follow-up to ensure correct application.

  • Review Committee A Student may ask that the decision of the Housing Director or designee to deny the cancellation be reviewed. The review will be conducted by a committee consisting of University officials.

  • Training Committee The parties to this Agreement may form a Training Committee. The Training Committee will be constituted by equal numbers of Employer nominees and ETU employee representatives and have a charter which clearly states its role and responsibilities. It shall monitor the clauses of this Agreement which relate to training and ensure all employees have equal access to training.

  • Joint Labor/Management Committees Purpose and Membership. Joint Labor/Management Committees are established to provide a forum for communications and problem-solving between the two parties and to deal with matters of a general personnel Union/Employer concern, as well as professional practices within the hospital related to patient care and professional issues. The Committees will work toward the improvement of patient care and recommend ways and means to improve patient care; and will address problems and concerns related to staffing and workloads. The Committees’ function will be limited to an advisory capacity and shall not include any decision making or collective bargaining authority. Committee memberships:

  • JOINT LABOR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE In order to encourage open communication, promote harmonious labor relations, and resolve matters of mutual concern, the parties agree to create a joint labor- management committee. The committee will be governed by the following principles:

  • Benefits Advisory Committee The Board agrees to establish a Benefits Advisory Committee to provide stakeholder input into maintaining quality and affordable benefits. The focus of this committee shall be to:

  • Study Committee The parties shall utilize the Benefits Advisory Committee, with equal membership by the State and the VSEA, for the purpose of reviewing all issues related to health care and prescription drugs, and recommending changes to the bargaining committees. The parties shall also establish a special study committee to evaluate the current health plans, and make recommendations to the bargaining committees of the State and employees for sustainable savings in the health care plans.

  • LABOR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE 1. A Statewide Labor Management Committee consisting of not more than five (5) members selected by the VSEA from among bargaining units represented by VSEA and not more than five (5) members selected by the State shall meet periodically to discuss a mutually agreed agenda which may include methods of improving labor relations, productivity, safety, and health problems of a continuing nature, or other problems which have an impact on conditions of employment; provided, however, these sessions are not for the purpose of discussing pending grievances or for collective bargaining on any subject.

  • Advisory Committee The Settling State shall designate an Opioid Settlement Remediation Advisory Committee (the “Advisory Committee”) to provide input and recommendations regarding remediation spending from that Settling State’s Abatement Accounts Fund. A Settling State may elect to use an existing advisory committee or similar entity (created outside of a State-Subdivision Agreement or Allocation Statute); provided, however, the Advisory Committee or similar entity shall meet the following requirements:
