Full Time Service. This article shall apply only to teachers whose service has been full-time, as defined by the existing Agreement. One year of service shall be defined according to ARTICLE VII, Section 10. A teacher with a break in teaching service to the District does not retain service credit for severance purposes. An Unrequested Leave of Absence or board approved leave of absence is not considered a break in service, though the teacher will not earn service credit while on the Unrequested Leave of Absence or board approved leave of absence.
