Common use of General Quality of Work Clause in Contracts

General Quality of Work. 23.1 Articles, materials, and equipment specified or shown on drawings shall be new and shall be applied, installed, connected, erected, used, cleaned, and conditioned for proper forming, as per the manufacturer's directions, and as approved by the Project Manager. The Contractor shall, if required, furnish satisfactory evidence as to kind and quality of the materials. 23.2 The Contractor shall apply, install, connect, and erect manufactured items or materials according to the recommendations of the manufacturer when such recommendations are not in conflict with the Contract Documents. The Contractor shall furnish copies of the manufacturer's recommendations to the Project Manager before proceeding with the work.
