General Responsibilities of Faculty Members. The work of faculty and librarians involves both the pursuit and the dissemination of knowledge through research, teaching, public lectures, conference communications, publications, the building of library collections, artistic production, and other similar activities. It is the responsibility of all faculty members to engage in the teaching and general academic guidance of students; in Professional and/or Scholarly Activity; and in Service to the University.
