Examples of active learning in the professional training environment are: • Adult learning activities such a role plays, scenarios or similar training approaches • Inquiry-based dialogue using protocols to surface the thinking of learners • Experiential learning activities or exercises (note: students don’t learn from experience, they learn from reflecting on experiences in an educational setting) • Paired or small group workProblem solving exercises • Blended learning using appropriate technological resources to support trainingCase study exercises • Problem-based learning exercises • Individual, group and class work using visual, auditory or kinesthetic stimuli to prompt discussion, discourse and related class work. Blended Learning – A multi-faceted approach to professional development and learning that is a blend of on-line, face-to-face, and experiential methodological teaching styles. Case Management – Case Management services include developing and implementing case plans, completing in-home safety analyses, and monitoring the success of safety plans. Child Protective Investigator (CPI) - An authorized agent in a professional position within the Department or designated sheriff‘s office with the authority and responsibility of investigating reports of child abuse, neglect or abandonment received by the Florida Abuse Hotline as defined in Section 39.01(63).F.S. Curriculum – A finalized set of modules (or units) designed for adult learners in the workplace, each with learning objectives and a variety of learning activities. For the purpose of the contract, this entails, trainer and participant guides, PowerPoints, videos, and job aids. Community-Base Care Lead Agency (CBC) – A not-for-profit or government agency with which the Department contracts for the delivery of xxxxxx care and related services.   • General Terms and Conditions During the term of this Contract, Contractor agrees to procure and maintain insurance which meets all County’s requirements in the General Terms and Conditions.

  • Additional Terms and Conditions of Award NONTRANSFERABILITY OF SHARES. Prior to the date on which Shares subject to this Award vest pursuant to Section 3 hereof, such Shares may not be sold, transferred, assigned, pledged, hypothecated, encumbered or otherwise disposed of (whether by operation of law or otherwise) or be subject to execution, attachment or similar process. Based on the received Letter of Application with a manuscript of a scientific and/or other text from the author (the Customer), the Contractor accepts the texts intended for publication in a printed mass media for editing on a paid basis. 3.2. The author (the Customer) who applies to the editorial office for the purpose of editing its scientific and/or other texts shall be obliged as follows: • Transfer its manuscript to the editorial board by sending the same to the official email address of the editorial board. • Based on the confirmation of a positive review and the invoice sent by the editorial board for payment for editing, prepress, electronic layout, publication on the journal's website, and archiving scientific and/or other texts, pay the cost of services within three (3) calendar days from the date of receipt of the invoice for payment for services. • At the request of the editorial board, provide information and perform any actions necessary and sufficient from the standpoint of the editorial board to perform the order. 3.3. The editorial board undertakes to render the services within 3 (three) months from the date of acceptance of the terms and conditions hereof and the Customer's payment for services hereunder. In exceptional cases, the term of performance of the terms and conditions hereof may be agreed with the author (the Customer) individually. 3.4. Services shall be considered rendered, and the terms and conditions hereof shall be considered performed at the time of the editor-in-chief's approval of the layout-original issue wherein the scientific and/or other text of the Customer is subject to publication.

  • TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF AGREEMENT INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS: During the term of this Agreement, consultant/contractor shall maintain insurance documentation per the limits and requirements outlined:

  • GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS 23.1 TRAINING: Service Provider shall train designated Bank officials on the configuration, operation/ functionalities, maintenance, support & administration for software, application architecture and components, installation, troubleshooting processes of the proposed Services as mentioned in this Agreement.
