Generic Competition During the Initial Payment Period. Notwithstanding the foregoing, on a country-by-country and Product-by-Product basis, if at any time during the Initial Payment Period a Generic Product is sold in such country, then Novartis will pay Akcea royalties on Net Sales of Products sold by Novartis, its Affiliates or Sublicensees in such country using the royalty adjustment set forth in this Section 7.8.2(b) for such country as follows:
