Government Acts. In the event that any act, regulation, directive, or law of a government within the Territory, including its departments, agencies or courts, should make impossible or prohibit, restrain, modify or limit any material act or obligation of NIBRI or Myogen under this Agreement, the party, if any, not so affected, shall have the right, at its option, to suspend or terminate this Agreement as to such country, if good faith negotiations between the parties to make such modifications herein as may be necessary to fairly address the impact thereof, after a reasonable period of time are not successful in producing mutually acceptable modifications to this Agreement.
